Let's just pretend I said something really witty here.
So I figure I haven’t really posted anything myself in a bit, so I figured I’d just write a quick post about my weekend.
So basically, I’ve come down with the flu for these last few days, and it has been incredibly frustrating. My nose is giving away its mucus like Republican presidential candidates with their idiotic statements (and yes, I’ve also been following the elections and weeping for humanity).
Yesterday was a wonderful barbecue at Max’s, which gave me a nice chance to try out some stuff with my camera. I got to try a bit of long exposure work as well, which was interesting and somewhat productive!
I also spent much time on a trampoline doing flips and almost doing flips (there’s a big difference, believe me), badminton-ing, and quite obviously, eating. Oh, and we played Taboo as well, which was fun.
And then, this morning, I pretty much woke up sore, probably because of a bad fall or two while trying and failing a back flip on the trampoline, which has my back feeling really awful.
Aside from that, today has been a lot of That Mitchell and Webb Look (hilarious show, must-watch), some admiring of Mark Selby (one of my favourite snooker players), reading Inheritance (I finally have time to read it!), and just chilling and listening to some Beethoven and Astor Piazzolla, whom I’ve just come across today and now love. (Check his work out if you’re into tango music!)
The only thing that’s put a duller on my week/weekend has been, aside from my blasted nose, this ‘relapse’ into a bit of an odd sentiment, really. Well, really to be plain, my self-esteem has just randomly dipped and I’ve not a single clue why. But hey, it might just pop back up in a week or so and I’ll forget this happened, eh?
